THE CANADIAN PRESS/Jason Franson JF SMS Email Print Copy article link Save HALIFAX - Two children are dead, and another man and child are injured after a boating accident in western Nova Scotia. On Saturday evening, RCMP responded to calls of a boater in distress on Lake Rossignol, near West Caledonia. When officers arrived, they found one man and three children were in the boat when it overturned. Officials used a search-and-rescue helicopter to find all four boaters, and transported them to hospital. Two of the children died as a result of their injuries. A 45-year-old man from Fall River, and one child, have non-life-threatening injuries. This report by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø was first published Oct. 19, 2025. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
