CN Rail boosts profits as cargo volumes inch up despite trade war

MONTREAL - ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Railway Co. saw a rise in both profits and uncertainty in its latest quarter as the country's biggest railroad operator worked through a trade war set off by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Despite the tariff turmoil, the company stood by its financial forecast for the year even as other companies have lowered their targets in recent days, including rival ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Pacific Kansas City Ltd.
